New Wednesday Sanctuary Adult Bible Study Format For September

The adult Bible study held in the sanctuary each Wednesday evening will change its format for the month of September. This format will offer more Bible study opportunities and give you an option to choose the time that you would prefer to study, either from 6:30-7:30 or from 7:00-8:00.
The format for September will be as follows:
6:30-7:00—Bible Study on an overview of Bible prophecy. This four-part study will give a step-by-step walk-through, describing each event on God’s prophetic timeline from the birth of Christ to the establishment of the new heaven and new earth. The topics that will be studied will be as follows:
● September 1st—The Foundation of Prophecy: Covenants and Dispensations
● September 8th—The Church Age—The time period between the 69th and 70th week of Daniel.
● September 15th—The Rapture of the Church.
● September 22nd—The Great Tribulation.
● September 29th—The Millennium and the New Heaven and New Earth.
7:00-7:15—During this time we will review our weekly prayer list and have a special time of prayer.
7:15-7:30—Bro. Randy Pike is currently teaching a weekly Bible study on prayer. During this segment he covers a different aspect of prayer each week.
7:30-8:00—The Bible study conducted in the 6:30-7:00 session will be repeated. You are welcome to attend the session of your choice, or you can also attend both sessions and receive double the blessings!

Last Chance to sign up for Thursday Evening Small Group Bible Study Opportunity coming in September!

We currently will offer two different studies: 1) “Life Lessons”- A study that en-gages adults to be, know & do all God desires for them. A study that invites adults into a God inspired, life changing Bible study. 2) “Here & Now, There & Then” - A study on the book of Revelation. A repeat of the Wed. night ladies class. Due to class being full & by request, this study will be offered again on Thursdays. We do need to know if there is enough interest in attending one of these groups. Our text messaging ministry has begun! If you are an active member of PGBC and would like to be a part of this ministry, sign up sheets are available today on the foyer tables.

September “Judea” Missions Outreach Opportunity

The Scripture instructs the local church not only to impact the uttermost part of the world with the gospel, but also to reach into our local areas. With this in mind PGBC will have a special “Judea” outreach in the month of September.

The Harvest Deaf Baptist College in Ringgold, Georgia has an urgent need to expand their cafeteria and dining area in order to better serve their students. Our goal is to assist them in the remodeling and expansion of these facilities. We hope to take a different group from our church for three consecutive weeks in September to complete this work.

We will need volunteers for Sunday September 12th,19th, & 26th. On those days we will work from 8-11am and then we will join the Harvest Deaf Baptist Church for their morning worship service from 11-12pm. We will then be served lunch and continue our work. There is much work to be completed and anyone is welcome to join in this outreach as we serve this wonderful ministry whether you are a skilled carpenter, a laborer, someone who can help serve food, or an exhorter.
